Can i see my wedding chura, before my wedding day?

Q- What will happen, if I have seen my wedding chura before my marriage, because I have heard that bride should not see her choora before the day, when she is going to wear it?

A-  It is a old folk thought. Some people still follow this, but it is of no significance over anything. As you can see your sindoor, wedding ring & wedding lehnga etc. Similarly, you can see your wedding chura before you wear it.

If you say that we should not see a horror movie before visiting any grave-yard in the night time; that makes sense. But if you say that you should not see your wedding chura before the day you are going to wear it, It makes no sense.
